The Learning Lab Day 0 is a one-day training offered to newcomers and intermediate learners of the Living Lab community and enthusiast practitioners from the local ecosystem interested in learning more about the key elements and operations of Living Labs.
Learning Lab Day 0 brings together a group of experienced trainers on Living Lab methodologies and tools, partners from international projects aiming to set-up Living Labs, expert ENoLL members, students, researchers, and practitioners from Living Labs. Learning Lab Day 0 will offer lectures and case study presentations connecting theory to practice, as well as panel discussions and hands-on exercises to support Living Lab newcomers and practitioners in applying learnings into their own specific contexts.
Target Audience
Living Lab newcomers, participants with an intermediate knowledge of Living Labs, and enthusiast practitioners from the local ecosystem who would like to explore more practical roles and running of activities within their own Living Lab.
BEGINNERS TRACK
Learners with minimum knowledge of Living Labs aiming at:
- gaining knowledge on how to set-up a Living lab,
- opening a Living Lab,
- applying the Living Lab methodology in their own context and local ecosystem,
- learning from successful real-life cases,
- understanding how to apply theory into practice when setting up a Living Lab.
INTERMEDIATE TRACK
Practitioners with an intermediate level of knowledge of Living Labs aiming at:
- gaining knowledge on how to set-up a Living lab,
- opening a Living Lab,
- applying the Living Lab methodology in their own context and local ecosystem,
- learning from successful real-life cases,
••understanding how to apply theory into practice when setting up a Living Lab.

Eligibility for “Low income countries” or “Middle income countries” membership category is based on country of institutional affiliation, not country of origin or residence. The list of “Low income countries” and “Middle income countries” to which lower fees apply is based on World Bank classification of countries. For Low income, World Bank low income and lower-middle income listing applies. For Middle income, upper-middle income listing applies. The list is valid from 15 November 2024. WILL I RECEIVE AN INVOICE?
The registration platform will automatically send a tax invoice for all payments made directly on the website (by credit card, PayPal, SOFORT, iDEAL or Bancontact). CAN I ATTEND WITH COLLEAGUES?
Of course! Registration to the Learning Lab Day 0 is personal: register as many participants as you have persons attending from the team through the registration platform.

IS THERE A LIMIT IN THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS?
Yes, a maximum of 40 attendees will have the chance to participate in this training, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS SO YOU CAN OPEN THE LEARNING LAB DAY 0?
Yes, we need a minimum of 10 attendees in order to open the Learning Lab Day 0 training.
CAN I ATTEND IF I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF LIVING LABS BEFORE?
Yes! The basic track is perfect for you as it is a one-day training offered to newcomers of the Living Lab community interested in learning more about the key elements and operations of Living Labs.
