Brussels – Policy Event

The 2026 edition of OpenLivingLab Days will start in Brussels, with a Policy Event held on 29 September that will foster high-level dialogue between EU institutions and the Living Lab community.

Antwerp – Conference Days

The OpenLivingLab Days conference will continue in Antwerp, at “A Room With A ZOO”, on 30 September and 1 October, with panels, workshops, and presentation of research papers.

Belgium – Site Visits

The conference will conclude with a day of site visits to innovation spaces in different locations in Belgium on 2 October.

🚆 Travel Between Brussels and Antwerp

Participants can easily each Belgium by flying into either Brussels Zaventem Airport or Brussels South Charleroi Airport, both offering connections to many Europeans and international destinations. From these airports, Brussels and Antwerp are easily accessible by train or shuttle services.

Belgium has an efficient rail network, making trains the most convenient way to move between Belgian cities. The official currency in Belgium is the Euro (€). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, though it is always useful to carry some cash for small purchases.

You can buy your tickets starting from early May 2026 on our website.

We offer a wide range of ticket options, with different rates for ENoLL members and non-members, low- and middle-income countries, group bookings, students, and specific participant categories. Additional options such as one-day tickets and networking events are also available. ENoLL Members will receive a dedicated code.

Simply provide your name at the Registration Desk to receive your badge, which will serve as your access pass to all venues and sessions. Please make sure to always carry your badge with you during OLLD activities. All relevant information will also be provided at the Registration Desk upon your arrival.

No, you don’t need to print anything, we only need your name. However, just in case your name doesn’t appear in our database, please have your registration confirmation saved on your phone or device.

The email address provided will be used to send all conference official information, as well as post-conference communications. Therefore, it must be a unique email used only for this registration and not shared with any other participants.

No, you do not need to pre-register for sessions or workshops. You can simply choose the session you want to attend and show up at the room indicated in the program, which will be shared on the official website.

Yes, you will have to register for Site Visits scheduled for the 2 October 2026.

Registration for Site Visits is mandatory, as available tickets are usually highly limited. Registration will open as soon as tickets go live.

During registration, you will be asked to indicate your preferences for the specific Site Visits you wish to attend directly through the event registration form. Please note that places are assigned to named participants, so each attendee must register individually to secure their spot.

Yes, the Policy Event on September 29 has a limited number of spots available, so pre-registration is required.

A special group rate will be available, with details shared in the first week of May along with the final information on all ticket options.

The conference language is English.

OpenLivingLab Days is the global gathering of international Living Labs, bringing together living labbers, public officials, academics, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators from around the world, therefore, in order to let everyone enjoy this experience, everything will be delivered in English.

All speakers will deliver their inputs in English and all materials used for the purpose of the conference will be in English too.

There won’t be any translation services.

Yes, the ticket may be transferred to another person before OLLD26 has started.

To make a name change, please contact the OLLD coordination team at olld@downtowneurope.be and at olld@enoll.org

Please note that registrations are non-refundable. However, they may be transferred to another participant upon prior coordination with the ENoLL Office. Alternatively, the registration fee can be credited toward a future ENoLL event or capacity-building training. For assistance or to arrange a transfer, please contact us at olld@enoll.org.

Coffee, tea, water, and snacks will be provided during breaks. Lunch during the conference days is also included in the ticket price.

Please note that dinner is not included on any day. Social and Networking Dinner needs to be purchased additionaly. 

Catering will not be provided during the site visits on 2 October.

Yes, all participants will receive a certificate of attendance shortly after the end of the conference.

According to our registration policy, registrations are non-refundable. Additionally, while participant transfers are possible, changes in registration category do not entail reimbursement of any price difference.

Yes, the conference venue is fully accessible. If you have any specific mobility or accessibility needs, please let us know (contacting us at olld@enoll.org) so we can ensure a comfortable experience, including during the Site Visits. OLLD has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and there is no strict dress code. We recommend comfortable, smart-casual attire suitable for a professional conference setting.

For Site Visits, we suggest wearing comfortable shoes and clothes so you can fully enjoy the experience.

OLLD is designed as a fully in-person experience to foster meaningful connections and interactions. At this time, no online or hybrid elements are planned, and all sessions and Site Visits will take place on-site.
