DISCOVER THE PROGRAMME

These are exciting times in Living Lab and end-user engagement field, driven by continuous development of new Living Labs, new methodologies and new research concepts. Living Labs can be applied to many different fields and therefore the scope of the conference is wide and the programme is jam packed.

Participants will be welcomed at the registration desk at the entrance of the Music Hall M2 building. Coffee and soft drinks will be provided.

Zsuzsanna Bodi (Director of the European Network of Living Labs), Panagiotis Bamidis (Assoc. Prof., Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Evdokimos Konstantinidis (OLLD19 Organiser and Thess-AHALL Leader) will welcome the participants.

OPENING

Fernando Vilariño (Chairman of the European Network of Living Labs) with address the participants with key messages from the Living Lab network, followed by Nikolaos Papaioannou (Rector of AUTH) and Theodoros Dardavesis (Dean of School of Medicine, AUTH) representing the supporting partner of the conference Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. On behalf of Apostolos Tzitzikostas (Governor of the Central Macedonia Region) – Constantinos Michailides, (Head of Dierectorate of Innovation And Enterpreneurship Support, Region of Central Macedonia). The Mayor of Thessaloniki Konstantinos Zervas​.

Keynote speaker, Maria Rosaria Ceccarelli (Chief, Trade Facilitation Section – United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) will address the participants.

HIGH LEVEL PANEL

The first day’s panel will reflect on the main theme of the conference from a high level point of view. Panelists introduce their current activities and initiatives, give insight to their organisations involvement on scaling up and co-creation issues.

The main goal of the first panel is to land the audience and prepare them for the theme and the rest of the programme of OLLD19. We invite panelists to share their messages on how the international innovation community can help the different organisations and institutions represented on the panel, implementing their policies and strategic work in practice, similarly identifying what are the barriers living labs can help them to overcome.

Only open to active members of the European Network of Living Labs

Inspired by the OLLD17 Krakow edition, the OLLD19 General Assembly will be an open session for the full audience in order to share strategic achievements with all attendees.

The session will be split into two main parts:

>  first sharing the conclusions of the Scaling Up Urban challenge session – hosted by DG RTD and EASME;
> followed by the traditional ENoLL General Assembly, sharing already achieved and upcoming strategic steps for the association, ending with the approval of Council membership related decisions.

TRANSPORT TO SOCIAL DINNER

Busses will be taking participants who have registered for the social dinner to the Polis Convention Center. Busses will depart at 18:30 and 18:45.

Social Dinner at Polis Convention Center. Located just outside of Thessaloniki, we will have a view of the city and the Aegean sea. On the arrival to the dinner venue, you will be greeted with a welcome cocktail. Participants who want to attend the Social Dinner need to buy a ticket beforehand. Transport will be organised from the venue and back to the city after the dinner has ended.
