Cecile Cuijpers is an experienced human factors research engineer focused on creating circular healthcare products.

She holds a PhD in Medical Design Engineering and worked as a human factors specialist in the innovation department of Philips Healthcare for almost four years before moving to Africa for six and a half years, where she devoted her time to a range of environmental sustainability projects.

Since September 2025 she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft, combining her expertise in human factors, healthcare design and the circular economy to design more circular healthcare products.
