Ioana is a marine educator, environmental scientist (PhD) and professional underwater photographer and videographer, dedicated to blending Arts and Sciences for ocean literacy. A certified scientific diver and National Geographic Educator, she has worked since 2019 with the French association NaturDive, where she creates underwater documentaries, photo exhibitions and 360° videos, develops educational content and works with students through the 'Educational Marine Areas' program. A certified photographer since 2012, Ioana also taught photography to primary school students. Her passion for education led her to co-author nationally accredited Arts textbooks used by thousands of children across Romania. Her multidisciplinary approach—using visual storytelling, hands-on science, as well as arts and crafts —aims to foster curiosity, emotional connection and environmental responsibility among the audience. Through her work, Ioana invites learners to explore the beauty of the Blue Planet and aims to inspire the next generation of explorers and change-makers.
