Dr Malwina Michalik-Śnieżek is an Assistant Professor at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland. She holds an MSc in Landscape Architecture and a PhD in Geography and Earth Sciences. For over 15 years, she has been engaged in academic and applied work in the fields of ecosystem services, nature-based solutions (NBS), and geographic information systems (GIS). She conducts expert studies in nature conservation, prepares protection plans, and develops environmental impact assessments for investments. Her research focuses on integrating spatial planning with ecological and social values to support sustainable development and adaptive landscape management.
