Aranka Dijkstra
Former Program Developer Living Labs at AMS Institute
Aranka Dijkstra looks to accelerate sustainable transitions through implementing real-life experiments and interdisciplinary collaborations. Since 2014, she has been guiding students and entrepreneurs in designing and implementing experiments in various urban- and festival living labs. Even after many years, Aranka maintains a strong connection to festival experimentation and aims to spread her knowledge and experience with festival experimentation through various publications and in particular the Festival Experimentation Guide, a practical guide on how to experiment at festivals, created in collaboration with Marije Boonstra, Peter Joore and with the support of NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences. Recently, she wrote the Urban Living Lab Way of Working Handbook for AMS Institute - Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions.
