Ilias Trochidis

Ilias is a Senior Researcher with over 20 years of active involvement in European research programmes (FP6, FP7, H2020, Horizon Europe). He holds a BSc in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia (Greece) and an MSc in Software Engineering. His main research interests include open data, open science, open innovation, and value creation in the digital economy. Ilias has extensive experience in the development and maintenance of web and business-related applications, as well as in drafting sustainability and business plans to support the exploitation of research and innovation results. He has played a key role in capacity-building initiatives and the upscaling of project outcomes across various domains. In recent years, he has gained significant experience in the establishment, operation, and monitoring of Living Labs, particularly in the areas of climate resilience and health.
