Description
This interactive workshop explores how Living Lab ecosystems can be orchestrated through balancing key operational tensions. Participants use “undesirable pathways” as diagnostic tools to identify risks such as rigidity, fragmentation, tokenism or chaos and co-create practical principles for adaptive ecosystem coordination.

PhD Researcher & Advisor, Utrecht University (CLU)| Chair, Campus & Higher Education Thematic Group, ENoLLClaudia is a PhD researcher at Utrecht University’s Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, studying campus living labs for sustainability transitions with a focus on the circular economy. She also advises at the Centre for Living Labs UU (CLU) and chairs ENoLL’s thematic group on campuses and higher education. With a background in engineering, sustainability, and innovation, she bridges academia and practice. Claudia holds degrees in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Biomaterials from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MSc in Sustainable Business and Innovation from Utrecht University. Her work explores how universities can serve as experimental spaces, driving sustainability transitions.

With a background in intercultural communications and sustainability, Susanne has much experience with building bridges between people, disciplines, departments and organizations, coaching various teams towards successful living labs, co-creations and collaborations.

Coming from a background in law, psychology and sociology and having completed an MSc in Clinical Psychology, Yashna is motivated to explore ways to curate experiences for people and promote a sense of belonging in both individual and group settings. Yashna is passionate about mental health and about bringing people together through co-creation, facilitation, and peer support.

He graduated as a biologist but spent most of his career as a connector and facilitator in the fast-paced IT industry. He specialises in optimising collaborations within and between organisations to achieve mutually agreed goals. Joep likes a challenge, and nothing is more challenging than turning strategy into reality when we talk about sustainability.
