PhD candidate in Economics at the Agricultural School and the Political Science School of Toulouse
Mattis is a PhD student in economics at the agricultural school and the political science school of Toulouse. He has an academic background in psychology, did one year exchange in Bologna (Italy), and economics. He linked both with a master's degree in economics and psychology in Montpellier and has wide professional experience. His current research is to create a Payment for Environmental Services to protect wild pollinators and to reverse their decline. In the European project RestPoll, he started to estimate the willingness to pay of farmers, citizens, and elected people to preserve wild pollinators. The Living Labs play a key role in their meetings for a better understanding of the motivations to sign this kind of contract for farmers and non-farmers. By this qualitative approach, he would like to implement and adapt the contract among the different stakeholders and Living Labs
