Urban Sustainability and Climate Change Specialist Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies, Erasmus University RotterdamLaura Quadros Aniche is an Urban Environment, Sustainability, and Climate Change specialist. She works on education, advisory, and research on urban sustainability and governance at IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her expertise focuses on nature-based solutions, ecosystem services, climate adaptation and resilience, urban living labs, and participatory processes. Laura holds a Masters (cum laude) in Urban Management and Development, an MBA in Real Estate Business and Civil Construction Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning. Before moving to the Netherlands in 2016, she worked for more than ten years in the private sector in Brazil with project management, urban development, civil construction, and real estate business. Working extensively in Horizon 2020 projects, Rochelle’s expertise is in science communication and knowledge transfer, to ensure that research has the societal impact needed to address our global challenges, like climate change and health inequality. Rochelle works on two Horizon 2020 projects, SCORE and ESCAPE, while supporting academics and other organisations on their Horizon Europe journey through training and other proposal development services. She is an Urban Resilience and Sustainability Planner (MEng), holding an MSc in Urban Environmental Management. Elina has gained international professional experience working on various projects, in academia, advisory and research. She has a strong background in sustainable and inclusive urban development, policy making and strategic planning, while she is familiar with Living Labs and co-creation in urban contexts. Elina’s core expertise is in urban management, strategic planning, as well as in policy making in the Global South and Europe. At ENoLL, Elina is in charge of supporting ENoLL activities under EU-funded projects, focusing on knowledge sharing, capacity building, stakeholder engagement and dissemination. Spela Zalokar
Senior Project Manager and Communications Manager at ENoLLSpela Zalokar, is Senior Project Manager, currently working on, URBANOME, Transformer and Mobius projects focusing on capacity building activities. She has worked on 15+ different projects from various different topics ranging from health and welbeing, smart cities, IoT, envirnoment, energy, social inclusion to creative industries and others. Her focus is largely on Urban Living Labs and capacity building development. As a project manager she is implementing and overseeing successful completion and dissemination of projects. Through the capacity building role Spela has developed different workshop and training methodologies for Living Labs. Her educational background in social and political sciences (BA European Studies, MA Politics & Society) and interest in the European affairs has led her to pursue a career in the EU field. Prior to ENoLL she has worked in the European Parliament, the European Commission (DG REGIO) and for various international non-profit organisations in the field of smart and sustainable development. Senior Project Manager and Capacity BuilderMarta is an Senior Project Manager and Capacity Builder at ENoLL since 2021. She is a Process Engineer with a Master in Sustainable Cities with international project management experience (South and North America, Africa, Europe). She has great experience in sustainable and participative process improvement and co-creation of solutions with a systemic and strategic thinking approach, mostly in the private sector. She has a very good understanding of various thematic areas such as climate change, climate adaptation, sustainability, sustainable production, circular economy, process improvement, urban sustainability, life cycle assessment and life cycle thinking. She is familiar with Urban Living Labs and co-creation in the urban environment. She is an experienced project manager with 6 years of experience supporting the implementation of international cooperation projects for different donors and specially for the European Commission in a variety of technical areas such as supporting in the transition towards a circular economy, supporting all the logistical preparation for the participation of the EU at an international convention, designing a plan for a successful business development of a forestry department, identifying urban development gaps and potential investment opportunities, among others.
