Barbara De Micheli has over 25 years of experience in on the field research on social policies, fundamental rights, diversity inclusion and gender related issues. Since 2019, she is the Head of the Social Justice Unit in Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini. In the last ten years, she has coordinated complex multiannual and transnational projects at the ‘Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini’, concerning the analysis, assessment and elaboration of the Gender Equality Plans, both grounding on qualitative and quantitative research methods; she has coordinated the development and implementation of the GEPs of Institute Pasteur, San Raffaele Hospital, Vita-Salute University, Toscana Lifescience. Her work includes coordination of research projects funded by European Commission, FRA, Eurofound, DG Reserach and DG EMPL. In addition, she is involved in training services to different institutions and private companies. She is particularly focused on diversity and inclusion issues as the designer and coordinator of the Master in ‘Gender Equality and Diversity Management’.
