TRACK 5: Living Labs Operations, Methods, Tools, and Impact

Description

This highly interactive, skill-building workshop guides participants through the end-to-end process of using Social Network Analysis (SNA) to uncover, strengthen, and activate stakeholder connections in their Living Labs, working in small, mixed-background teams.

Introductions

  • We launch three Mentimeter polls (sector, network role, personal inspiration)
  • Participants vote and see live results, surfacing shared contexts and connection.
14:05 – 14:15

Context & Framing

  • We introduce ourselves and the workshop’s “why”
  • We walk through the agenda and make the case for SNA in Living Labs
14:15 – 14:25

Group Setup & Rules

  • Attendees form teams of 4–6 around tables
  • We demo the four card decks and explain their outputs:
    • Stakeholder Cards → build your Network Canvas
    • Useful Tools Cards → map key resources
    • Challenge + Action Cards → craft your Activation Blueprint
  • Teams ask clarifying questions.
14:25 – 15:05

Card Game Play

  • Each team draws Stakeholders, Useful Tools, and one Challenge card
  • Teams pick 2–3 Action cards to co-design their Activation Blueprint
  • Facilitators circulate, prompt deeper thinking, and keep time
  • Participants collaborate on their map and blueprint
15:05 – 15:15

Peer Review & Feedback

  • Groups post their canvases and blueprints around the room
  • Each neighboring team adds one sticky-note suggestion to other teams
  • We ensure everyone contributes balanced feedback
15:15 – 15:30

Debrief & Resources

  • We highlight the top three strategies emerging from the blueprints
  • Connect those strategies back to regenerative Living Labs
  • Share a QR code for the Digital Resource Pack
  • Participants reflect and scan the code for follow-up materials
