TYPE OF SESSION
Workshop
Description
As cities across Europe navigate the intertwined green and digital transitions, citizens are emerging as vital co-creators of change. This interactive workshop brings together four EU-funded projects to showcase how municipalities, living labs, and communities are working together to shape inclusive, sustainable futures.
Participants will learn more about the projects and how to benefit from them and their outcomes and then take part in a hands-on collaborative exercise: “Minds in Transition: A Collaborative City.” Working in diverse teams, participants will explore and visualise how citizens contribute to urban transformation, exchange real-world practices, and reflect on how cultural and creative approaches can unlock more inclusive, impactful transitions.
Join us to connect, create, and learn from others who are placing people at the centre of urban change.
Register and share the event with people who might be interested in attending!
Expected Outcomes
This side event aims to disseminate the projects co-organising it to the local ecosystem of Andorra and beyond. It also aims to create a space for sharing and collaboration, where people from different backgrounds and expertise will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and share. The outcomes of the project will be combined in a report to share afterwards among the project’s channels and ENoLL’s channels, with the potential to utilise some of the outcomes in the project’s future activities.
Format
The first part of the event will include presentations of each of the four projects participating in city-focused, citizen–centric initiatives. Each presenter will handle their respective project presentations before coming together to introduce and run the workshop. The workshop will require attendees to work in teams in order to develop their approach to citizen-led initiatives that aim towards urban transformation, keeping in mind the role of arts and culture. Then we will further share in plenary and harvest the best approaches, while also providing space to share and exchange with each other.
