Prof. Fernando Vilariño is Associate Director of the Computer Vision Centre and Associate Professor of the Univ. Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain. He is currently lecturing in Robotics and Multimedia Systems. His research has been linked to diverse areas of Computer Vision and Machine Learning, and Robotics. His current research is focused on the development of the link between physical and digital objects.
He has led different projects related to citizen science through the implementation of a model for Living Labs in the context of Open Innovation. He has participated in the different workshops and invited talks in the context of ICT and culture. Dr. Vilariño has been awarded with the Spanish Gov. Ramon y Cajal Grant (2010), and Google Academy Award (2014) for his research.
As Associate Director for the CVC he has contributed to the technology transfer of Computer Vision technology with setup of a number of start-ups in the field of Machine Learning and Computer Vision. He is co-leading the implementation of the Regional Computer Vision Ecosystem, the regional economic driver of AI. He has developed a model for innovation based on living labs that allows for multi-stake holder user centric approach.

Starting his professional career in 1994 as frontline manager at Mc Donald’s, Nike and IKEA, he moved to the open innovation sector. Living the labs since 2006 @ i-City, IBBT, iMinds, City of Things & iMec. Sharing knowledge & experiences with internal and external clients as an User Involvement Evangelist. Working as an internal & external challenger in order to constantly improve the way of interacting, supporting & cooperating with (international)(large) panels of users & stakeholders in (complex) ecosystems. Keeping an eye on the quality of (large) quantitative surveys. Managing thematic monitors (e.g. digimeter, Smart City Meter) from A to Z. Setting up cross border cooperations between different panels. In 2020 he joined the ENoLL office to help the network grow.

Martina has 20 years of experience in the international public sphere, working especially in R&D policy orientation, public engagement, advocacy and science diplomacy with the European Commission and Ministries and Funding Agencies in 15+ extra-European Countries. She has been Head of Unit for International Cooperation and Innovation in APRE – Agency for the Promotion of the European Research, managing and coordinating more than 15 International Cooperation projects and has been appointed National Contact Point for Industrial Technologies since the Sixth Framework Programme till Horizon 2020. She has been the coordinator of the ERACAN Platform and of the EU- Canada Programme Level Cooperation Task Force. She has a degree in International Law, a post graduate in European Policies and a Second Level Master in Global Environmental Policies.

Ms. Milica Trajkovic is a certified PMI project manager, experienced in EU funded projects focused on Digital Agriculture and development of ICTs for AgriFood value chain. For the last five years she has been equally involved in numerous proposals preparation (from idea to design and proposal formulation) as well as projects’ implementation. Constant managing of multiple projects resulted in two main specializations – i) liaison between project requests and partners’ needs and Institute’s expertise and resources dedicated to implementation of project tasks; ii) efficient implementation of overall project strategy and assuring sub-projects and pilots are executing pre-defined tasks and activities within time, budget and quality constraints. At the same time, she deeply believes that people are the most valuable asset a company can have. Hence, Milica is very passionate about training and development activities tailored to Institute’s employees needs she is leading.
In parallel, Milica is an Operations Manager in Precision Agriculture Living Lab (PA4ALL), where she works on broadening the relations with agricultural producers and maintaining cross-fertilization process between agricultural and ICT industry.

Dr Evdokimos Konstantinidis is the leader of the Assistive Technologies and Silver Science Research Group in the Lab of Medical Physics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received the Diploma in electronic engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, in 2004, the M.Sc. degree in medical informatics in 2008 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and the Ph.D. degree in the Laboratory of Medical Physics of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2015. His research interests lie predominately in the area of medical informatics, particularly within assistive technologies (silverscience, silvergaming, mobile health)

Teemu Santonen received his Ph.D. (Econ.) degree in Information Systems Science from Aalto University in Finland in 2005. Currently he is acting as a “Knowledge Intensive Business Services (KIBS)” principal lecturer at the Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Prior his academic career Santonen was working over a decade as a consult and a development manager in leading Finnish financial, media and ICT sector organizations. Santonen is also a scientific panel member of International Society of Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM) and is former board member of Finnish Strategic Management Society. In Laurea Santonen has been leading Service Design and co-creation research program. Currently he is managing co-creation and business development activities for three major EU-funded project having a total budget over 10 MEUR and including 41 partners across Europe. The Finnish Inventor Support Association have honored Santonen’s novel crowdsourcing based open innovation platform as the best school related innovation in Finland. As of today he has publish over 60 scientific paper. His current research interest focuses on “Open Innovation management”, “Living labs in context of health/wellbeing and circular economy”, and “Social Network Analysis (SNA)”.

Zsuzsanna Bodi, is an Open Innovation Design enthusiast, seeking for ways to make Open Innovation models and co-creation methodologies sustainable, business ready and continuous growth stimulating.
As former Living Lab practitioner and Association Director, Bodi has worked with ENoLL’s ~150 active Living Labs.
Bodi holds a French MBA-MAE degree in Management and Business Studies (Université Jean Moulin, Lyon). Previously she obtained a M.Sc. in Engineering and Management degree at the Technical University of Budapest and has strong focus on User Centered Product Design. She gained knowledge from her work on 20+ national and European projects focusing on the multi stakeholder and end-user engagement, citizen driven and co-creation aspect of the following topics and areas: Future Internet; Smart Cities and Mobility; Cross-border, Cross-sector Collaboration, Game design & serious gaming; STEM Learning Analytics; Big Data; Climate Change; Design and Creative Industries. Currently she is engaged in spacetech startups incubation and sustainability/environmental projects.

María Alonso Raposo holds a degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction. She worked as researcher on human factors in driving in the private sector for about 15 years. Then she joined the Sustainable Transport Unit at the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC) Ispra, Italy, in 2016 as a technology and policy analyst on autonomous road transport. The main focus of her work is the analysis of the social and economic implications of a Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility, in support of EU policy-making in this area. At present, she is responsible for the scientific activities of the JRC Future Mobility Solutions Living Lab engaging citizens in the co-creation of future mobility.

Stefano Tarantola is a Scientific Officer at the Joint Research Centre of the European
Commission. He graduated in Nuclear Engineering in 1992 and received his PhD in
Science and Technologies for Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1996. He
works at the Directorate for Energy, Transport and Climate conducting
methodological work and pre-normative research in the field interoperability of
smart electricity grids and electric vehicles. He currently runs the project for
developing a living lab at the JRC Ispra for testing digital energy solutions in the
context of the Ispra site modernization program.

Dr. Josep Maria Salanova Grau was born in Barcelona in 1983 and is a Senior Researcher of the Hellenic Institute of Transport of the Center for Research and Technology Hellas.
He holds a graduated diploma from the Polytechnic School of the University of Catalonia (U.P.C.), Department of Civil Engineer (2007). In 2008-2009 he acquired the MSc on Design, Organization and Management of Transportation Systems of the Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki. In 2010-2013 he conducted his PhD research in the Polytechnic School of the University of Catalonia (U.P.C.) with dissertation title “modelling of taxicab fleets in urban environment”. He also holds a diploma on Data Science Specialization at the Johns Hopkins University.
The year 2007 he worked for the CENIT (Center for Innovation in Transport) in Barcelona, and since 2008 he works at the Hellenic Institute of Transport, where he is leading the “Data analysis and modelling” laboratory. His scientific interests concern research and developments in transport and mostly in algorithm and model development, mobility, intermodal transport and logistics as well as Data Science and Big Data at the transport domain. He speaks fluently Catalan and Spanish and very well Greek and English.

Matthew King has been in the Commission for 25 years after joining from the UK Treasury. He spent most of that time in DG FISMA working on banking and insurance regulation. In the early 2000s he was posted to the Commission’s office in Washington DC where he was active in pursuing better relations between US securities and banking regulators and the Commission. Since then he has been in a number of different DGs, including DG MARE, DG RTD (working on the creation of the new European Innovation Council) and the Joint Research Centre. Until recently he was the head of unit for text and data mining at the JRC. He has recently been appointed the JRC’s Chief Data Officer and head of unit for innovation and intellectual property rights management.

the collaboration with the ENoLL organization. The Guadalinfo LLs are in the first line fighting
against the depopulation in Andalucía, digital changes and inclusion for citizens and SMEs are
goals with high priority for the project. Gerardo has a long experience working with LLs in the
rural environment, developing the digital strategy of the regional y local governs.
