The Thessaloniki Active and Healthy Ageing Living Lab (Thess-AHALL) is organizing an open event inviting the “Collaboration & Research Community for the Independent Living”, the LLM Care ecosystem and its local stakeholders’ community, comprised of older adults, patients’ associations and experts from the healthcare sector to share their experiences from participating in research activities and co-creation initiatives of the Living Lab, as well as to submit their ideas and plan future actions, regarding technologies and innovative solutions for well-being and independent living. Participants of the local visit will have the opportunity to learn about the co-creation activities that Thess-AHALL is organizing throughout the year. Various projects across the spectrum of health and well-being will be presented and the strategic partners of the Community will be honored for their cooperation. Thess-AHALL’s Community representatives, including patients’ associations, older adults’ day care center experts, municipality policymakers and individual participants will join a panel discussion to exchange their vision for the future of co-creation activities on health and well-being. Local and national policymakers will also be present to listen to the needs of the local stakeholders and to foster future co-creation activities among the university, policy actors and citizens.
